Designed by Lionel Hewson, Thurles Golf Club is a beautifully matured parkland course. Lined with majestic trees this course features a number of intimidating holes. The feature holes are the four par threes, the best being the 11th leading to a small target that is well bunkered. The 18th is a par 5 with out of bounds all the way up the left, that has destroyed many good scorecards. Thurles has a splendid clubhouse with excellent catering and the warm and friendly welcome will make you want to come back for more.
